Thanks to Burrp and the fantastic reviews I jus knew I had to go check out Thulp for myself and thatâ??s just what I did when I was dying of hunger at lunch time today. I called them up for directions and was very politely helped out. Thulp is a fast food chilled out joint with fine dining food which is just purrrfect for people like me! The owner(whose name I forgot to ask) helped us out to order. We ordered the Gonzo Garbanzo (Hummus with pita bread drizzled with olive oil and topped with olives,) which my Arab friend vouched for and said is as good as the real thing in the Gulf and I must say it was delicious. The Lemon Soda with mint was really refreshing on a hot sunny afternoon. We had the Alphonos Hankypants(Spaghetti with Chicken in Alfredo Sauce and Mushrooms accompanied with bread) which I felt was slightly bland and lacking spice. I of course ordered the Moo Burger(Poor lill cow) after reading the earlier reviews on Burrp. Just like its described awesome beef with shredded lettuce, pickles and onions .I can't even begin to explain how delicious this burger was, I was taken to heaven for a few moments. The burger was accompanied my French fries done just right and coleslaw. We also had the Snickers Blizzard which was also delicious and heavy and is also served along with a mini size snickers on the side which I thought was very cute ;). The owner took care and interest to see how we felt about the food which is usual in newly opened restaurants. My only request to the owners is to not hike the prices as they get popular because the pricing and the ambience is what totally rocks this place. The color theme is red with nice pictures on the wall a fun menu with funky names which really makes you smile and is a good change from the boring menus we usually see. Not to forget the books and board games at the entrance which you can take and sit down along with your coffee and chill. The place is not air conditioned and is open and I think that's alright because we really dint feel hot. All in all itâ??s a great place to visit and I for one would definitely go back jus to Moo ;-)
Spaghetti-Rs 150 S
nickers Blizzard- Rs120
Moooooo- Rs150
Hummus and Pita Bread- Rs 85
Lemon Mint Soda- Rs 35
We paid a bill of Rs 540 and I did not care at all because every rupee was worth it. Wouldnâ??t complain about the service as the waiters jus seem sincere and eager to please as the restaurant is just 2 weeks old.

Mocha
This coffee shop which is quite popular in Mumbai is now in Bangalore at both Lavelle Road and Koramangala.
The place seems pretty crowded as dere are ppl waiting outside on most days.
I visited the Koramangala outlet. The prices are pretty expensive for coffee averaging at around Rs 75. I had the Hot Choclate which was topped with cream.
The belgian waffles topped wid honey and cream and butter as accompaniments @ Rs 50 was good too but a lill too sweet. We also taste the apple muffin which was fabolous and mouth melting. A muffin costs Rs 45.
The ambience is very Mediterranean-ish with hookah's to complete the feel. Service was average.
I personally felt there was nuthing particularly outstanding about the place and slghtly overpriced.
A good place to catch up with frends like the tag line says...

Cheap n Yummy
Great food, does not score great on ambience and hygiene. The service is jus average. We had the paneer parathas and they rock. Watch out this place aint for those on a diet as all the dishes are served with a blob of butter which of course adds to the taste. Egg burji is yummy n a favourite for most here. The Lassi comes in huge glass and is also worth it, Ther is huge q outside at most times and hence u feel rushed to finish up your meal A sumptuous meal for two costs just between Rs 120- 160 and hence its dirt cheap. A place worth trying especially at the end of the month when you are low on cash!

Dumb Dumb Dumb
Visited this palce on a weeknd to celebrate a pals bday. I dropped the surprise bday cake to the waiter an hour before instructing him to bring it in after we were done wid dinner. We ordered chicken balls with mayonnaise which was good. The chicken and beef steaks were just average. Service was slow. The icing on the cake literally was when the waiter brought in the cake after the meal to us in the cake box in the plastic bag that i had handed in to him earlier n delivered it right into the birthday boy's hands! Wow It was one helluva surprise..I did not think that they could be so dumb..The damage was done so we just took the cake out lit the candles all right in front of the bday boy! So next time when u guys go there make sure to clearly tell the waiter to 'take the cake outta d box!!!' we had a good laugh over it but wouldnt wanna celebrate another bday there for sure!
